Samurai Sushi Menu Project
Objective: This was a class project to design a menu with an interesting binding for either Big Al’s Burgers or Samurai Sushi. I chose the Samurai Sushi restaurant to make a more sophisticated menu and binding. My concept was to use bamboo.
I wanted to create a sleek and clean menu. I used organic paper for the menu items and vellum as an overlay. Imagining that most of the features of the interior of the restaurant would be made of bamboo, I used it for the binding to tie it all together.
Won the Graphic Design Excellence Award at the 79th Annual Student Art Exhibition.
